Update

It takes two to make it perfect

"It takes two to make it perfect" - that is the slogan of the ICC Berlin 2.0 campaign, which can be summed up as follows: A perfect congress requires two components - the ICC team and Berlin.
Our expertise is a decisive factor in achieving perfect planning and successful implementation of congresses and events, and this competence is underlined by the charm, cultural attractions and extensive range of hotels offered by Berlin, a truly cosmopolitan city.

Team-Spirit

As part of the ICC Berlin 2.0 approach our most important "software" has also been updated this year.
A seminar was held at which the team exchanged ideas and compared experiences, new concepts were developed, networked and brought together in order to strengthen our team in preparation for a busy autumn of events.

Construction coming soon...

The architects "Code Unique" from Dresden came out on top in the competition to construct a new hall on the site currently occupied by the Deutschlandhalle.

The successful design meets the need for a “multipurpose hall with various areas offering maximum flexibility, providing separate accesses to a number of simultaneous events”, according to Raimund Hosch, CEO of Messe Berlin GmbH.

During the planned, three-year closure of the ICC Berlin for renovation purposes, beginning in 2014, congresses will take place on the southern section of the Exhibition Grounds.

You can, of course, continue to rely on the creativity, experience and inspiration of the ICC team during this time to ensure the success of all your events.
The latest details can be found on our homepage www.icc-berlin.de and, of course, are always available in the latest edition of our Newsletter.

We are delighted to report...

At this year’s IMEX the ICC Berlin was nominated by CPO Hanser for the IAPCO Supplier Award, which was presented by the “International Association of Professional Congress Organisers” to Dr. Ralf Kleinhenz, representing the entire ICC team.
We are delighted to have received this award in recognition of our service-based, professional approach, our flexibility and creativity, thereby reinforcing our ICC Berlin 2.0 philosophy.

ICCA ranking: Congress city Berlin ranks fourth

According to the latest statistics released by the International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA), Berlin is one of the four leading venues in the world for congresses by professional associations.
“Being at the top of the ICCA ranking means that the venue is seen by congress planners as one of the world’s leading contenders for their events”, says the chief executive of visitBerlin, Burkhard Kieker.
“The construction of a new hall for congresses and trade shows gives the right signal to the market.”
More details about Berlin as a congress venue can be found on the internet at convention.visitberlin.en.
